The Arabic Language Education Implementation and Research Center ARÖMER of 29 Mayıs University, Istanbul (29 Mayıs ARÖMER) was established to develop and improve relationships with public, private organizations, non-governmental and international organizations operating in the education of Arabic language; to meet the needs for Arabic language education in Turkey which has been growing with the increased economic and political importance of Turkey in the region and to improve the level of Arabic education and contribute to the development of the country.

29 Mayıs ARÖMER organizes Arabic language programs, courses, seminars, workshops, national and international meetings to improve knowledge and skills of people in the required areas; provides consultancy and project services and publishes educational materials.

Being the quality name in Arabic teaching in Turkey, 29 Mayıs ARÖMER cooperates with governors’ offices, offices of multis and Imam Hatip (religious) high schools not only in Istanbul but also in many other cities of Turkey such as Rize, Samsun, Siirt and provides Arabic language teaching in the highest quality thanks to its qualified and expert Arab Teachers and its supervision-evaluation mechanism.

Additionally, if a university requires a teacher of Arab origin to give Arabic lesson, the address they can refer to is 29 Mayıs ARÖMER. Istanbul 29 Mayıs University provides easy access for universities to Arabic language teachers with its Arabic Teachers Let’s Go to Turkey (AHT) project which it started two years before; and 15 different universities have already used this service.  These teachers had vast experience in teaching Arabic to foreign student in their respective countries and were interviewed and selected among 1000 teachers.
