During the visit, as Arabic language learning and ARÖMER’s experiences were discussed, consultations were held regarding possible cooperation between the two institutions. The visit also provided an opportunity to design new projects and strengthen relations.
The İstanbul 29 Mayıs University International Arabic Center For Education Implement and Research (ARÖMER)—which organizes Arabic training programs, courses, and seminars in areas needed to increase the knowledge and skills of people from all segments of society—has launched the ARÖMER 29 Mayıs University YouTube Channel to support its online education. This initiative involves both its live classes and video content, aiming to ensure that every segment of society needing Arabic knowledge can access it, an importance heightened during the pandemic.
Through our YouTube channel, which we have been using continuously and actively since the beginning of the pandemic, we share content produced for our trainees and students who seek to access accurate information while learning Arabic. We present this content to our followers consistently and in an organized manner through playlists such as Language Patterns, Economy, Lughat-un Nabi, Let’s Speak Correctly and Literature. As we see the interest our content generates in our channel statistics, our happiness regarding the contribution we provide to society and the excitement we feel during content production are continuously increasing, and we proudly celebrate reaching 15,000 subscribers!

The ‘Arabic Summer Education Program,’ jointly organized by ARÖMER and the Bayyinah Institute, was carried out with the participation of 135 students from 15 different countries.
ARÖMER provided an unforgettable experience to students from 15 different countries with its ‘Arabic Summer Education Program.’ Students who attended ARÖMER through the Bayyinah Institute represented broad participation from across the globe. Students from many countries such as the USA, the UK, France, Canada, Australia, Kenya, Palestine, Lebanon, Belgium, Denmark, Switzerland, Pakistan, India, Indonesia, and Malaysia participated in the program.
Students participating from a wide geography stretching from the USA to Malaysia underwent an intensive, month-long training process and successfully completed it. Students who earned the right to receive their certificates at the end of the program expressed their great satisfaction with the quality of ARÖMER’s education.
“The participants stated that they were excited to receive training at ARÖMER in the coming years and emphasized that this experience was an important turning point for them. ARÖMER, in turn, stated that by prioritizing cultural diversity and educational quality, it would always keep its doors open to international students.”
The Arabic Summer Program, organized in cooperation between Istanbul 29 Mayıs University’s ARÖMER and the BAYYINAH Institute, is bringing international students together in Istanbul for the second time this year.
The intensive Arabic Summer Program, which is carried out by İstanbul 29 Mayıs University’s International Arabic Center for Education Implementation and Research (ARÖMER) -an academic center specializing in Arabic instruction- and realized in cooperation with the BAYYINAH Institute, continues this year with broad and qualified participation.
125 students from 14 different countries, including Canada, America, France, Germany, Malaysia, India, Pakistan, Belgium, Singapore, Australia, the Netherlands, the UK, and Switzerland, are undergoing a four-week Arabic education process in Istanbul. The program, which started on Monday, July 21, 2025, will conclude on Tuesday, August 19, 2025.
The participants continue to develop their Arabic skills in classes conducted according to their language levels. The program offers an international-quality language education that provides high efficiency in a short time with its strong academic content and experienced instructor staff. Students not only learn Arabic, but also experience a multifaceted educational experience, immersed in Istanbul’s historical richness and cultural atmosphere. Due to the central location of the campus, the program also benefits from the significant advantage of effortless access to all corners of Istanbul.
This program is a reflection of İstanbul 29 Mayıs University’s academic strength, multilingual education vision, and competent staff in the field.
While reaching more students from more countries every year, we are transforming ARÖMER not just into a teaching center, but into a pioneer of Arabic education at regional and global levels.
The seminar was arranged by “Anadolu İmam Hatip Girls Secondary School/ Ataşehir ” in Istanbul. Dr.Ibrahim HELALSHAH the head of International Arabic Center for Education Implementation and Research was invited to the Seminar on International Arabic Language Day, on December 18, 2016.
He emphasized the importance of learning, teaching and promoting the Arabic language. He talked about the techniques of teaching Arabic, he concluded his speech by thanking the students for their deep interest and commitment in this regard.

Ass. Prof İbrahim Helalşah, the Director of the Arabic Language Education and Research Center ARÖMER of 29 Mayıs University and Mr. Abu Hilala, Managing Director of Aljazeera TV channel signed a collaboration agreement.
Pursuant to the agreement, similar to the page, Teallem Elarabiyye (Learning Arabic) in Arabic and English to teach Arabic language on the website of Aljazeera, there will be a “Arapça Öğreniyorum (learning Arabic) ” page in Arabic and Turkish.
There will be articles, up-to-date news and various educational videos as well as daily and weekly exercises on the website, “Arapça Öğreniyorum” in Arabic and Turkish . The website will also have an designated teacher and it will be possible to ask questions in a video format or in writing.
We hope that these major projects developed by ARÖMER to expand its Arabic language teaching network and reach to as many people as possible will be beneficial for the Turkish people.
