The 2026–2027 Academic Year Opening Meeting was held at Istanbul 29 Mayıs University School of Foreign Languages with the participation of faculty members from the Arabic, English, and Turkish preparatory units.
Approximately 45 faculty members attended the meeting, during which the objectives for the new academic year, teaching and learning processes, and initiatives aimed at the development of the School of Foreign Languages were discussed.
At the opening of the meeting, Director of the School of Foreign Languages Asst. Prof. Dr. İbrahim Helalşah delivered a speech. In his remarks, Helalşah highlighted the faculty members’ successful work in language teaching and their dedicated efforts, and expressed the University’s appreciation for the achievements of its teaching staff. He congratulated them and wished all faculty members a successful and productive new academic year.
In his speech, Helalşah also addressed various rules and policies adopted by the University in its educational processes and provided information about ongoing and planned projects aimed at further improving the educational quality of the School of Foreign Languages.
The meeting concluded with wishes for a productive and successful academic year for both students and faculty members.
